AUTHOR'S NOTES
One day I was sitting around at work, waiting for the clock to make it's slow way around to five. Nothing much was happening, and in this boring void the phrase "Quoth the Shipper 'Sam and Jack'" popped into my head. The rest of the poem virtually wrote itself, once I got hold of a copy of The Raven to blatently rip it off from that is :)
In Australia Stargate is usually on on Thursday nights after JAG, just to set the scene. Apologies to all Shippers, fans of JAG, Edgar Allen Poe and fans therewith, fans of Teal'c (couldn't fit him into the meter unfortunately) people who manufacture and wear their own SGC uniforms, everyone who has has to read this thing and anyone else who may be dismayed by this pathetic travesty of decent poetry :)
