STARGATE-SG1 SKIN version 1.3
Aug 25th 2002

Here it is, three years after version 1.2, version 1.3 of the Stargate-SG1 Winamp Skin - new from Purple Wyrm Productions (slowest product cycle this side of Squornshellous Zeta).

Unless I've missed something fairly vital this should work on Winamp versions 2.09 to 2.78 inclusive, and may well work on versions earlier than that. I have neither the time nor inclination to test it on every release, that's *your* job oh end-user.

As for version 3 or higher, I have no idea. I haven't really had a good look at version 3, but judging by the skins being produced for it you need a degree in theoretical physics to even change the colour of the buttons (if you can even *find* the buttons that is). You can give it a try, but if it all collapses messily in a heap and takes half your hard drive with it, don't come crying to me. I've got enough problems. Complain to Nullsoft for not maintaining backwards compatability. That'll fix 'em.

CHANGE LOG

Changes from Version 1.0
	* Minibrowser now skinned. That's it.

Changes from Version 1.1
	* Minibrowser url colour now conforms with the rest of the skin (like wow).

Changes from Version 1.2
	* Windowbar thingy for equaliser now skinned (Oy vey! I missed it earlier!).
	* Annoyingly ugly circular button things for playlist menus eliminated and replaced
with less annoying "viewscreen" buttons to match rest of skin. (They're round, but
a version with square ones is in there, finding it is an exercise for the student.)
	* Popup menus on playlist pannel made slightly less vomit-inducing (actually I think
	  they look quite snazzy now).
	* Black border placed around minibrowser content to make it look slightly more
	  professional.
	* Shuffle and Repeat buttons separated, because having them together was annoying
me (it's my skin, I can do what I damn well want with it!).
	* Main window windowbar thingy no longer wobbles between selected/deselected
	* Visualisation window skinned

I made these revisions on a rainy Sunday afternoon when I was supposed to be doing other far more boring things, like my tax. I'm happy with this, but the Taxation Department probably won't be, so if I'm hauled away in a grey ATO pannel van and never seen again, we'll all know why. This release is freeware - use and distribute it freely, however no liability is accepted for anything it may do to your hardware, software or data (such as causing your computer to wear black, brood upon dark thoughts and listen to the Smiths). Use it as your own risk. Feel free to use my work as a springboard for your own skin designs, but please make sure to credit me as the original creator (and for crying out loud, do something a bit more creative than changing the text colours and proclaiming it as a new skin!). Or send me money (US Dollars for preference).

On the other hand if you're intending to rip my design (and I have seen a few ripped versions floating around) may you burn in the unquenchable fires of Hades for all of eternity. And not even be allowed out for drink breaks or social mixers either. That'll fix ya!

Nice or constructive thoughts and comments at any rate. Ones along the lines of "ur skin rulz but the blu-green colour iz ugly and sux if u want i can fix it for u" will be treated with the contempt that they deserve (you know who you are).

Alternatively visit Wyrmworld at http://www.wyrmworld.com to see what other stupid things I've been doing instead of filling out my Taxpak.

Enjoy.
