Flag of Frankland State

The Flag of Frankland State consists of a dark green field defaced with a dark blue cross offset to the left, edged with white. The cross is defaced with a five pointed red star on the cross and a red profile of Mount Frankland on the right arm. "FRANKLAND" is written across the bottom in red.

The green is said to represent the state's forests. The horizontal blue bar represents the Frankland River, while the vertical bar the state's other watercourses. The white edges represent the concept of peace through well defined and defended borders. The star represents the people of the state, with the five points sometimes said to signify the government, the military, the farmers and manufacturers, the traders, and the scholars and educators. The mountain represents the state's territory while the offset of the cross suggests Frankland's geographic position among the Southern States.
