The State of Pallinup is the most easterly of the Southern States bordered to the west by the State of Porongurup. It is the largest of the States, but the least populous. Most of its inhabitants are nomadic shepherds with small permanent populations at Boxwood Hill and the capital of Bremer Bay.

The state government consists of 20 representatives - 5 from Bremer Bay, 5 from Boxwood Hill and 10 from the nomads. Terms are served for three years and the congress meets monthly in the Council Hall at Bremer Bay.

Pallinup has no armed forces.
