The Red Kangaroo is the largest species of kangaroo with males reaching almost two metres in height. As the name would suggest they are covered in red-brown fur. While they generally avoid humans they can be dangerous if cornered - a good kick from a large male can kill.

Red Kangaroos are found in small groups, mostly in the arid regions on the edge of the Desert. They are sometimes hunted for skins and meat, although the smaller grey kangaroo is a more common target.
