The Boatyard is a dumping ground for derelict ships at the north of Oyster Harbour near Albany.

In the immediate aftermath of the Great War dozens of ships - some only barely seaworthy - limped into Albany. To keep the port facilities clear these were directed into Oyster Harbour, the most damaged beaching on the tidal flats at the mouth of the Kalgan River. In the years since many other obsolete and damaged vessels have been scuttled in the area, and the north-eastern section of the harbour is now clogged with at least 60 rusting and decaying hulks.

One such hulk - a fishing vessel named the Ishi Maru - was resurrected in 2063 to provide a superstructure for the PRS Resurgam.

There have been recent moves to ban the dumping of ships at the Boatyard, and to clean up the area. So far these have come to nothing.
