Dragon's Swamp

The Dragon's Swamp is a marshy bowl with a foul and stagnant lake located within the Dead Forest of the Perth Detonation Zone. Located at the west end of the Strip it is famous among Scavs for 'the Dragon' - a large pre-war statue of a dragon resting by the lakeside. To reach this statue and carve one's name into it (referred to as 'naming the dragon') is the ultimate test of skill and bravery amongst Scavs.
