Grease Merchant

Grease Merchant is a derogatory term for an inhabitant of Porongurup State, derived from the state's whale oil industry. Within the state it is generally reserved for inhabitants of Albany - a rural Poronguruper will often be highly insulted at the suggestion that they are a Grease Merchant.

'Grease Monkey' is a rarer form of the term.
