Mallalyup was a small orcharding town in the Western Settlements famed for its sideline in pottery production. Mallalyup produced ceramics were considered the best in the entire south west, leading to some rivalry with nearby Balingup.
The town was destroyed by raiders from the Warlord Realms on June 5th 2078. Half the population of 124 were killed and the townsite was thoroughly looted and burnt. Most of the survivors relocated to Balingup, Donnybrook and Greenbushes, and the site was not re-occupied.
