The Milford Family (Robert Milford, his wife Lee and their four children) owned and operated an a productive - although somewhat isolated - auroch farm between Tunney and Cranbrook in the eastern Settlements until they mysteriously disappeared in early July 2071.

Robert Milford was last seen in Tunney on July 2nd. Six days later on July 8th a trader visiting the farm found it completely abandoned with the doors unlocked, all livestock missing, and food still on the kitchen table. There was no sign of any kind of fight or struggle, and no reports of raiders or slavers in the district.

Theories as to the fate of the Milford family and their stock abound, ranging from the plausible (a group of highly efficient and discrete slavers) to the ridiculous (falling through a 'hole in time'). The ruins of the farmhouse are rumored to be haunted, and although many scoff at such stories they are usually avoided after dark.

Peter Milford

A young man claiming to be Peter Milford - the eldest of the Milford children - appeared in Albany in August 2079. He offered to reveal the true story of his family to the highest bidder, and was reported to have received several substantial offers before he was unmasked as one Cyril Ashfield of Dinninup. He left Albany rapidly and has not been heard of since.
