Porongurup East is a town in Porongurup State located at the east end of the Porongurup Range.

The town is sited at the junction of Chester Pass Road and the Mount Barker Porongurup Road, and has a population of 320. It has telegraph service and is the location of a Rangers barracks with a garrison of 20.

Porongurup East is mainly a service centre for the surrounding farms, although it is also a common stopping point for travelers and caravans journeying between Albany and Borden.
