Hopetown is an abandoned settlement on the Pirate Coast about 85km north east of Bremer Bay. Pre-war maps indicate it was originally called "Hopetoun".

A spring near the townsite is the last reliable water source on the eastwards coast.

Hopetown was a major pirate base prior to August 2065 when it was cleared out by the Porongurup Rangers and the PRS Resurgam during the Pirate War.
